Steven Fisher serves as the Chief of Staff at the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC), at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Mr. Fisher previously served as the Acting Military Deputy, and as the Operations and Strategic Planning Division Chief for AvMC.
His career at AvMC began as a defense contractor working within the Operations Division of the Center Support Directorate. Mr. Fisher joined the civilian workforce as the Force Protection Lead for the Center, before becoming the Operations Branch Chief.
Mr. Fisher holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from Strayer University, a master’s degree in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from Arizona State University and Bachelor of Science in Resource Management from Troy University.
Mr. Fisher’s noteworthy awards and decorations include the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service, Achievement Medal for Civilian Service, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and Order of St. Michael, Bronze Award. He is a life member of the Night Stalker Association.
